Beginning Rock Climbing

During this class, you will learn about equipment, safety, basic climbing skills, and belay techniques, right here on Travis’s indoor climbing wall. Don’t let this class pass you by! Class will include all equipment and professional instruction.

Teen Camping Trip
Cost: $74 Time: 8am Sat - 5pm Sun

The Outdoor Adventure Program is taking the teens camping. Fresh air, beautiful scenery, wildlife, s’mores and campfire stories… what could be better? We will be going up to Lake Bowman and want you’re teen to come along. Trip includes transportation, food, and fun. Sign ups will be taken through the Teen Zone or call
424-3131. Trip includes transportation, park entry fee, and guides.

Kayak Roll Class
Cost: $19 Time: 5-8pm

Being able to roll a kayak is the gateway to enjoying your kayaking experience. In the warm and safe water of the Travis Aquatic Center, our experienced adventure staff will teach you all you need to know to roll a kayak. This class is ideal if you want to try sea kayaking or become a whitewater boater! Successful completion of our Beginning Sea Kayaking, Beginning Whitewater Kayaking, or equivalent knowledge is a prerequisite to this class.

American River White Water Rafting Day Trip
Cost: $49 Time: 7:30am-7pm

The American River runs right through our own backyard, and has some of the greatest class III and IV rafting west of the Mississippi. This trip will get your adrenaline pumping. Join our experienced guides for a day of river running through rapids such as Satan’s Cesspool and Bouncing Rock. These trips fill up quick, so sign up soon!
American River White Water Rafting Day Trip
Cost: $49 Time: 7:30am-7pm

Intermediate Whitewater Kayaking
Cost: $39 Time: 9am-4pm

Take your skills to the next level as we hit the American River. This course will detail the skills required to maneuver successfully on moving water. This is a great class to get you comfortable in a boat before you move on to dealing with rapids. You must successfully complete the Kayak Roll Class or have equivalent knowledge to participate in this course. Class will include all equipment, transportation, and professional instruction. If you are have already taken the course or have equivalent knowledge and would like to join us, feel free to use this as a Whitewater Kayaking trip.
Intermediate Whitewater Kayaking
Cost: $39 Time: 9am-4pm
