This is a great class to get you comfortable in a boat before you move on to dealing with rapids. You must successfully complete the Kayak Roll Class or have equivalent knowledge to participate in this course. Class will include all equipment, transportation, and professional instruction. If you are have already taken the course or have equivalent knowledge and would like to join us, feel free to use this as a Whitewater Kayaking trip.

Join Outdoor Adventure as we head over to Davis to do some rock climbing. One of the earliest climbing gyms in the country, the Rocknasium boasts 8,000 square feet of climbable terrain. Their facility has climbs ranging in difficulty from the super easy to the super hard. Trip includes transportation and rental if necessary. Teens should be belay qualified prior to trip. Signups will be taken through the Teen Zone or call 424-3131.

Join Outdoor Recreation as we head towards the Sierra Nevada Mountains into the heart of Gold Country. We will whitewater raft for two days while enjoying great weather, good people and good food. These overnight trips are a blast! Come and join us for a day of river running through rapids such as Triple Threat and Trouble Maker. Once we are off the river, we will set up camp, cook a delicious dinner and enjoy good conversation under the stars. The next morning after breakfast, we will hop back onto the river and ride through the gorge in such rapids as Satan’s Cesspool and Fowler’s Rock.

San Francisco Self Guided Bike Tour/ Treasure Hunt

We will be headed to the city to do some site seeing, but in a whole new way. Join the OAP as we take bikes through downtown San Francisco to really get to know the city. Everyone on the trip will be divided into groups and given a GPS unit so they can find the “Hidden Treasures” of San Francisco. Take pictures of what makes San Francisco the city it is. Then ride across the Golden Gate Bridge to meet the rest of the group and driver at the Presidio Yacht Club for dinner.
