MARKETING AND PUBLICITY

 

SUPERVISORY MARKETING SPECIALIST (NF-1101-04)

Knowledge of merchandising and marketing policies, procedures, methods and publicity techniques.  Knowledge of market research methods and techniques.  Ability to recognize and define problem areas, apply marketing research techniques and analyze information for presentation to management.  Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using a high degree of tact and diplomacy, to prepare and present surveys, reports, proposals and press releases.  Ability to supervise employees, This is a position of trust.  Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).

 

MARKETING ASSISTANT (NF-1101-03)

Must have responsible experience which provides a general knowledge of marketing/advertising principles and practices.  Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform research, select, arrange and compose material and maintain well organized files.  In addition, must have specialized experience which demonstrates the ability to design and layout advertising copy and artwork using desktop publishing software, word processing and other software.  Must have experience developing, conducting and analyzing market research information.  Must have the ability to read, write and speak English.  Must possess skill in dealing with customers and public.  This is a position of trust.  Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).

 

COMMERCIAL SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR (NF-1101-03)

Two years of progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical, or other work which has provided a general knowledge of marketing/commercial sponsorship principle and practices.  In addition, applicant must have one and one half years specialized experience.  This experience may have been gained in a commercial marketing or advertising agency.  Specialized experience must demonstrate the applicant’s ability to plan and implement new and unique programs without benefit of established criteria; compose written material and conduct verbal/oral presentations; solicit and negotiate sponsorship agreements and develop advertising copy.  May substitute a BA in Marketing for experience.  This is a position of trust.  Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).

 

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS COORDINATOR (NF-1101-03)

Must have progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical or other work experience that has provided a general knowledge of marketing special events principles and practices.  Must have strong written and oral communication skills.  In addition, applicants preferred have one and ˝ years specialized experience (which may be substituted by an undergraduate degree in marketing or advertising).  This experience may have been gained in a commercial marketing or advertising agency, or in related professions.  Specialized experience must demonstrate the applicant’s ability to plan and implement new and unique programs without the benefit of established criteria; compose written material, manage people and equipment and conduct verbal/oral presentations.  This is a position of trust.  Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).

 

GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATOR (NF-1020-03)

Ability to design art and copy layouts in a wide variety of medium.  Knowledge of design principles and concepts.  Thorough knowledge of computer design and graphic software.  Ability to design and maintain webpages.  Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines with no error.  Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.  Must have Associate’s or Bachelors degree in graphic design, fine art, or similar major area of study or at least two years experience in the field.  This is a position of trust.  Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).

 

PUBLICITY COORDINATOR (NF-1101-03)

Must have responsible experience which provided a general knowledge of marketing/advertising principles and practices.  Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.  Experience with graphics software helpful.  Experience must demonstrate the ability to select, arrange, and compose material and maintain well-organized files.  Must have ability to read, write and speak English.  Must possess skill in dealing with customers and public.  This is a position of trust.  Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).

 

COMPUTER GRAPHIC DESIGNER (NF-1020-03)

Ability to design art and copy layouts in a wide variety of medium.  Knowledge of design principles and concepts.  Through knowledge of computer design including Adobe’s PhotoShop, InDesign & Illustrator software.  Skill to organize work effectively to achieve timely progress on multiple simultaneous projects without error; distributes effort appropriately among projects; meets deadlines; and maintains a high level of productivity.  Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English.  Ability to apply knowledge of color theory, formats, styles, design and layout techniques.  Must have at least two years of experience in graphic design, fine art, or similar major area of study in this field.  May substitute experience with an Associates degree in Computer Graphic Design or similar study in this field.  This is a position of trust.  Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).
