POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
CO-LOCATED CLUB
GENERAL MANAGER (NF-1101-04)
Three
years of progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical or
other work which has provided a general knowledge of management principles and
practices, or progressively responsible experience in one or more of the
functions managed by a club manager. In
addition, applicant must have two and one-half years specialized
experience. This must include
responsibility or supervision over the various phases of club management
operations. Incumbent is required to be
mobile and may be assigned to any other position of equal grade and pay for
which the employee is qualified, at any geographical location, for reasons
determined to be in the best interest of the Air Force. The Air Force Mobility Agreement is required
to be signed by the incumbent of this position with the expectation of an
approximate 3 to 5 years change of assignment.

SECRETARY (OFFICE AUTOMATION) (NF-0318-02)
Must
have responsible experience in clerical or office work which has provided
knowledge of office automation software, correspondence, formats, grammar and
spelling. Experience must have provided
the ability to perform research, select, arrange and compose material, and
maintain organized files. Must be a
qualified typist (40 wpm). Must be able
to read, write and speak competent English.

BARTENDER (NA-7405-05)
Must
have experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale, which includes
knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and ability to combine ingredients
such a liquors, soda water, sugar, bitters, and fruit and the ability to mix
exotic drinks. Must be able to recognize
intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance if
needed. Must be able to follow cash
handling procedures. Must be physically
able to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pull and push objects
weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds. Must meet the appropriate minimum age
requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s
Certificate and/or complete food handler’s training. Must be able to communicate clearly and
posses skill in dealing with public.

is required. Knowledge of club,

OFFICE AUTOMATION CLERK (NF-0326-02)
Applicant
must have experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind in
which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at
the grade level of the position. In
addition to the above requirements, applicant is required to demonstrate
possession of a high degree of proficiency in typing and knowledge of word
processing techniques. Must be a
qualified typist (40 wpm). Must be able

CASHIER/CHECKER (NF-2091-01)
Must
have experience in clerical, office, or retail sales work of any kind. Experience in the operation of a cash
register is desirable. Skill in dealing

MATERIALS HANDLER (MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR)
(NA-6907-04)
Must
have general knowledge of the methods used in processing, handling and sorting
of materials and equipment through a supply facility; the ability to log
receipt, storage and shipment data; and the ability to use manual or mechanized
equipment to move, stack, bin and position materials and equipment. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to continually stand, bend,
stoop, and reach for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in the English
language. Must obtain a Food Handler’s

CATERER (NF-1101-03)
Must
have experience which demonstrates the ability to plan and organize social
functions for large groups of people.
Experience scheduling special events and arranging for catering
services; responsibility for supervising or overseeing the food preparation or
facility layout for group social functions; organizing activities which require
coordination of numerous tasks involving cooperation from several sources of
services or personnel. Must have
experience that provides knowledge of formal protocol for high-ranking
dignitaries. Must be able to obtain a
Food Handler’s Certificate and/or complete food handler’s training. Must be able to communicate clearly with
customers and possess skill in dealing with the public. This is a position of trust. Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check
(NAC).
CLUB OPERATIONS ASSISTANT (NF-1101-03)

have experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant, and retail

control methods. Must have experience
which demonstrates ability to provide work direction to other club employees
and knowledge of fire, safety, and health regulations. Must be able to communicate with customers
and possess skill in dealing with the public.

BAR ASSISTANT (NA-7405-01)
No
previous training or experience is required.
Must be able to follow simple oral instructions, and be able to use
knives and automatic slicers to prepare garnishes. Must be physically able to frequently lift
objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pull, and push objects weighing 10 to 20
pounds and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds. Must meet the appropriate minimum age
requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s

RECREATION AID (NF-0189-01)
Practical
knowledge of bingo. Ability to safeguard
and handle cash. Must have a clear

CASHIER/CHECKER (HOSTESS) (NF-2091-01)
Applicant
must have experience in clerical, office or retail work of any kind in which

Progressively
responsible experience in quantity cooking, preparation of a variety of food
items, menu planning, quality and cost control of food preparation, inventory
and storage procedures for food supplies and equipment, and procurement of food
supplies and equipment. The experience
must include supervising personnel. In
addition, the incumbent must have knowledge of dietetics, planning culinary
activities, and portion control. This is

COOK (NA-7404-08)
Must
have experience in and a thorough knowledge of food preparation and
characteristics of foods. Must be able
to plan, coordinate and time sequence steps needed to prepare entire meals on
time without overcooking or waste. Must
be able to adjust recipes for servings required, substitutions and seasoning;
recognize characteristics of foods in deciding that raw materials are fresh; and
judge prepared food by color, consistency, temperature, odor and taste. Experience and knowledge must have been
gained in a restaurant, club, cafeteria, or similar establishment. Must be physically able to frequently lift
objects weighing up to 40 pounds and occasionally over 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, walk,
stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s
