ADMINISTRATION

 

SECRETARY (OFFICE AUTOMATION) (NF-0318-03)

Requires a qualified typist (40 WPM); knowledge of and ability to use word processing equipment and software; knowledge of filing systems and of spelling, punctuation, syntax, and required formats sufficient to identify and correct discrepancies in correspondence and reports.  Ability to compose routine office correspondence and to make arrangements for such things as travel, conferences and meetings.  Knowledge of the organization and its functions sufficient to processing incoming and outgoing mail, to answer routine questions and to refer more complex questions to the appropriate person.  Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language.  Ability to locate and assemble information for various reports, briefings and conferences.  This is a position of trust.  Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).

 

SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL COORDINATOR (NF-0018-03)

Must have knowledge of general management functions, practices, and procedures sufficient to understand organizational objectives, safety and occupational health principles, regulations, standards, and work processes of assigned organizational segment; the requirements, methods, and techniques for evaluating low safety and occupational health risk areas.  Knowledge of communication techniques, principles, and regulations to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in responding to work related problems and questions.  Knowledge of basic construction standards, methods, practices, and workspace sufficient enough to inspect construction projects and designs to determine compliance with applicable occupational health and safety standards such as location of exits and stairs, floor load capacity, and aisle space.  Knowledge of standard training techniques, methods, and materials sufficient to develop and present formal training and instructional sessions.  Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications sufficient to identify hazardous conditions in proposed facilities/renovations.  Ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.  This is a position of trust.  Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).
