Whew, well into the month of June, aren’t we?? You’d think the summer would slow things down but no such luck around here! Here’s the “goings ons” of the DBC. J

Beer and Wine Tasting! – Redwood Room – 1800-2200 – With the help of the Travis CGOC, we’re bringing out some great wineries and great breweries so you can sample and taste all afternoon long! The Blue Frog Grog & Grill will also be here showcasing their local fares and the most popular beer today will be added to our permanent selection! We’ll also have awesome food pairings courtesy of our fantastic Chef Robert! Tickets are available at the door for $10 for E-7 and up and $5 for E-6 and below. Must be 21 to attend.

NEW PROGRAM!! – DBC Pool Night – E’ Lounge – All Night – Tuesday nights are officially pool nights at the DBC! No more Bingo in your bar on Tuesdays!! The pool table will be FREE for everyone to play and break in, good and proper. Pitchers of Coors Light only $5!!! Keep an eye out for tournament schedules! Next up, the jukebox!

Membership Dinner/Family Night – Redwood Room – 1730-1930 – Another great membership benefit! Again, in celebration of Caribbean American Heritage Month, we’ll feature great flavors from the Caribbean to include a Steel Drum band from Solano Community College! Rock Band will be setup for the kids and we’ll have the Jamaican Red Strip Lager available for the adults! Ages 17 & Under are on the house and adult members pay $4.95. Reggae & Flag Party – E’ Lounge – 2000-???? – We’re bringing in a Reggae DJ to help set the tone for the Caribbean Heritage Month Flag Party!!

DBC Comedy Night!! – E’ Lounge – 2000 – After last month’s HILARIOUS set by Speedy and E. Clark, we’re gonna keep the funny flowin’! Tickets available early and at the door. Prices are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Ticket price gets you: a comedy show, a drink at the bar, and entry into the Late Niter immediately following the show. This month’s comedians are:

Speedy – returning to host the night!
Joyelle Nicole – Joyelle's comedy has taken her from coast to coast, and she has performed at Caroline’s on Broadway and all over Southern California at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store and the Hollywood Improv. She considers George Carlin the father, Dave Chappelle the son, and Chris Rock the Holy Ghost. T’Shaun Barrett - A theater actor from the south side of Chicago, he moved to Los Angeles with dreams of becoming a comedian. He found his way to the legendary Comedy Store comedy club. Shortly after appearing at the Comedy Store, he quickly started performing all over the world. T’Shaun can be seen in several films and television shows such as the movie Barber Shop II, the T.V. Shows With Out A Trace, E.R., Numbers, Medium and several others. Be on the lookout for this kid, he is doing God’s work by making people laugh. T’Shaun wants everyone in the world to remember, K.L.E.O! Keep.Loving.Each.Other

Late-Niter – E-Lounge – 2200-0400 – Stick around after the comedy show for another awesome Late Niter and meet the comedians! $3 for Members, $6 for Non-Members and entry into the comedy show gets you entry into the Late Niter. And for all you fighters out there…. LEAVE YOUR ATTITUDES AT THE DOOR. Don’t be the person I call out in my email for ruining Late-Niters for everyone…

Travis Icon Finale - Registration

Starting July 1^st and running through July 31^st, stop by the club and register to compete in the Grand Finale of Travis Icon, AMC ICON! This base-level competition is open to all authorized participants aged 18 years and older. All participants are eligible to win our base-level prizes, however, only the highest scoring active duty member will be permitted to represent Travis at the AMC Level competition in October. In these tough economic times, we recognize the strains placed on our community. Gas prices are at record highs, food prices are on the rise, beer’s still cheap… but hey… it costs more to get there to drink it and honestly, how long before that gets on the bandwagon too… But I digress… We at the Delta Breeze Club recognize this and want you to know, we’ve got you covered. In addition to opening on Mondays, below you will find the new reduced pricing structure for our Daily Lunch and Sunday Brunch Buffets! Join the club for maximum benefit and make us your daily stop for great food at a great price

Lunch – 1100-1300 – Mon - Fri (that’s right MONDAY through Friday)

$9 – The Entire buffet. Hot Line, Cold Line, Dessert, Drinks, the Works
$8 – The Hot Line. Just need the hot stuff please. Includes the ten hot items on the hot buffet plus drinks and dessert

New Member Squadron Competition – This year, we will host a competition to see which squadron can increase their membership by the largest percentage during the membership drive! The squadron that does this will receive 30% off all food and non-alcoholic beverage for their squadron’s holiday party or a squadron event of their choice that is booked at the club! 2^nd place will receive 15% off and 3^rd will receive 10% off. Rules apply and will be laid out in the coming weeks.
The Sign-Up Exemption – During the Membership Drive, if you sign up for membership at any club event, you will be exempt from paying admission! Signing up during lunch? Lunch is free that day. A Late-Niter motivate you to join? Ne fee at the door. Comedy is what got you in? No charge, it’s on us. Rock concert turned you away from the Dark Side? Rock out, free of charge. Turn in your completed application to the cashier for any event and get in for free. Some rules apply, see cashier’s cage for more information. This does not include catered events, must be a club sponsored event. Some events may be noted as not eligible for the Membership Drive Exemption, but not many, if at all.
Current Member Recognition – Don’t think we forgot about you, the current member. Randomly throughout the drive, we’ll be giving away a month’s free dues just for being a loyal member. All you have to do is be here.

July 26^th – Immediately following the Car Show, The DBC’s first POOL PARTY at the Travis Base Pool. The Oakland Raiderettes will hang around for a while, as well as the KSFM DJ’s!! Stop by, relax and have a cold one!
Aug 1^st – First Friday

Aug 23^rd – AMC ICON Finale!!
